I’m always so excited when I know this box is on the way!

If you have never heard of Degustabox before, Degustabox is a monthly subscription plan which contains 9-14 surprise food products with each box. The items are selected from name brands, will contain new flavors, and give you a new option to think about the next time you’re looking for a break in your eating routine.

This months box is all about breakfast.

I have always been impressed with the packaging, they always manage to make it look inviting, and the food, for the most part, arrives safely.

Underneath the folded brown paper are a few information sheets, about products in the box, and a couple of coupons.

POST Great Grains Coconut Almond Crunch $3.99

“This cereal is made with flecks of real tropical coconut, almonds, crunchy flakes and cluster. This new flavor is a good source of whole grain with no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial flavors or colors.”

The first thing I noticed about this was the smell, the moment you open the bag you are met with the sweet smell of coconut. This cereal may very well be my new favorite, it smells good and it’s sweet and crunchy, I love that the coconut flakes are so crisp and sweet.

7DAYS  Peanut Butter Creme & Chocolate Soft Croissant $1.49

7Days crispy and flaky croissants are made with the highest quality ingredients. They are the perfect “anytime treat”, whether it be breakfast, lunch or on-the-go snack.

I wasn’t a big fan of this, mainly because I really like peanut butter, but it was a nice croissant. It was light and airy and got two thumbs up from my brother.

LOACKER Quadratini Espresso Bite Size Wafer Cookies $3.99

“Four layers of the smoothest espresso cream are held by five light, crispy wafers. This intensely aromatic cream filling made with a special Loacker espresso blend will also win over the most demanding connoisseurs.”

You had me at espresso!

I have always been a fan of wafer cookies, we used to get those packs that had vanilla, strawberry and I think chocolate when we were kids and that was the highlight of any shopping trip. As an avid coffee lover I obviously love these. The espresso flavor is very bold and wonderful.

JULIAN’S RECIPE Sweet Vanilla Belgian Pastry Waffles $4.99 (for a box of four)

“These delicious Belgian pastry waffles are made from an authentic Liege recipe that includes pearl sugar and sweet vanilla! They are individually wrapped for freshness and ready-to-eat right out of the package!”

Waffles are one of my favorite foods, so I was super excited to eat these. Thes were a little different then what I’m used to. when you first bite into it it isn’t sweet at all, but as you chew it starts to have a sugary texture and a light sweet taste.

BLUEPRINT ORGANIC Energy Tea $2.49

“BluePrint Energy Teas provide dual-sourced energy from high-functional tea blends and trend-forward superfoods, including guayusa tea with turmeric and cayenne and matcha tea with moringa.”

My favorite thing about this tea is that it is sweetened with maple syrup, often when I get bottled teas that are meant to be healthier they have used artificial sweeteners, and it really ruins the flavor.

I really hope I can find these in a store near me, I can easily see this being a staple for summer.

ELMHURST Milked Brown Rice $5.99 Products Of The Month

“Ready to up your whole grain game? This milk gives you 20g of whole grain in every glass. It’s light, refreshing, and good for you! This online exclusive is a reliable staple in any pantry; good for both drinking straight out of the glass and for cooking or baking.”

I had this with the Great Grain cereal, and then later just drank some out of a glass. I was surprised by how good it was, in cereal, it was hard to tell really but on its own I actually quite like it. It is more watery then classic milk and has a bit of a grainy texture, but honestly, I would take a glass of this before cows milk(I don’t like milk)

OREO King Size Mint Chocolate Candy Bar $1.69

“Delicious bits of Oreo cookie mixed in smooth, mint flavored creme filling and coated in chocolate candy.”

This is s yummy!

I have had this candy bar before and I love it! I love anything Oreo, to be honest. It is such a good mix of sweet, minty, and crunchy.

HOMEBREW Quick Pickle Mix $1.50 Each

“Say goodbye to expensive ingredients and special equipment. All you need are 2 cups of produce, a pint jar and a packet of Homebrew Quick Pickle Mix. Make pickles in the refrigerator in just 24-hours!”

I’m really curious to see how these work, I’m not sure I would have picked any of these options but I’m definitely willing to try them. I think the idea behind this product is really cool, I have made pickles before so I know what goes into them. I’m most excited about the spicy pineapple one.

I am so happy with this months box! It’s probably because I got waffles and an Oreo candy bar, but still, it was a great month.
