I know there are a lot of top 5 posts out there, in fact, I just did one a couple of weeks ago, but I was thinking that I have least favorites too. So I decided to do a 5 least favorite top to change things up a bit.
When I was going through my lipsticks to decide which ones were my least favorite the choices were clear, and I had no problem picking them out of my substantial collection of lip products.
So let’s jump right in!
RIMMEL Moisture Renew Lipstick in Red Alert
I love Rimmel’s lipstick, the moisture renew are really nice as a rule, but this one is messy. Red lipstick can be a bit tricky to use at the best of times, but make it super bright red and give it a really creamy consistency and things start to go downhill fast.
NYX Lip Lingerie in Lace Detail
As far liquid lipsticks go the formula of the Lip Lingerie are one of the better ones I’ve tried, with this one it was the color. It is way too light for me, it makes it look like my lips aren’t even there.
COLOURPOP Liquid Lipstick in Time Square
I really wanted to love this lipstick, the color is really pretty, and I had heard so many great things about it, but alas it wasn’t for me. It applied nicely and I loved the wand, but after it dried it was uncomfortable and accentuated every little wrinkle in my lips, it flaked whenever I talked and was a pain to remove.
NUDESTIX Magnetic Matte Lip Color in Greyston
This came in one of my Sephora Play boxes and it probably is a perfectly nice lipstick, in fact, it’s very long lasting, but the color is just so wrong for me. It is the color of melted chocolate, which apparently doesn’t suit me, or maybe it’s just a kind of bold I’m not willing to wear.
KAT VON D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in K-Dub
You probably know by now that I’m fairly reserved when it comes to makeup, so when I received this lipstick in one of my Sephora boxes I actually laughed. don’t get me wrong, it is a very pretty color but I would never in a million years wear a bright fuchsia lipstick.
Do you have any lipsticks that you don’t like? What are they?
