I have been wanting to do this post for a while but it always seemed to take the back burner, but it’s finally here.

Back in the spring of 2017, I decided that I couldn’t take sitting my bed or the floor  anymore ( said as I’m literally sitting on the floor.) So I asked dad what type of desk he thought would be best for my space.

My room is quite small and every inch counts so if I were to get a desk that would mine giving up either my dresser or my nightstand, which I didn’t really want to do but I was willing to make the sacrifice. That’s when Dad suggested that if I wouldn’t mind waiting a little I might be able to have an office space.

So low and behold, a couple of months later I had my very own little office without compromising any of my original space.

I have two good sized shelves, but I haven’t decided how to organize the top one so it’s a bit of a mess. On the lower shelve, I have my lightbox, most of my notebooks, my candles, a random mug, and a set of hedgehog salt and pepper shakers.

On the right side of the wall, I have these two adorable prints from Dorkface, I’ve had them for a couple of years but never had a place for them. Beneath them, there is a sign that says “Friends are like stars, you don’t always see them but you know they’re always there”

In the center, I have cute little cork board that again I have had for ages.

On the left I have my “things to do” notepad, this is where I write out the days of the week, and what blog related task I want to accomplish on said day. Right below that there is a cute little clipboard where I have my none blog related to do list.

Have you noticed I like lists?

On my desk, I of course, have my computer. It’s a purple HP, don’t ask me anything else cos I don’t know. There a place in the center back of the desk where chargers and such can come through so I can charge my computer without cords getting in the way.

Also on the desk is a cute stationary organizer that my friend gave me for my birthday, complete with sticky notes thumbtacks, and paper clips. A cute little fake succulent plant, and the Emily’s Ardor Lavender Butter Bars.

On the left I usually have two or more notebooks stacked up, along with miscellaneous other items. There is also this nice little silver shiny desk ornament, and cat cup where I collect my pens and pencils, and I sign that says “I may not be perfect but my cat loves me” a sentence that describes me perfectly.

For a light I got this cool magnetic strip light off Amazon, it is rechargeable so I don’t have to deal with wires.

The crown jewel has to be this fuzzy stool, I have wanted one of these for ages but didn’t need one. As some as they started work on this space, I went out and bought this one. I got it at TJ Maxx, it’s by a brand called Tainoki.

And last but not least is my cute trash can. You may not know this about me but I love British phone boxes, so when I saw this it was a no-brainer, and I promptly sent a picture of it to my friend who shares a love of British themed things.

I hoped you enjoyed this post, and if you are interested in seeing any similar types of post in the future let me know. I loved writing this one.

Anna.
