It’s hard not to be excited when a box filled with food is delivered to your door.

As you may know, I have been getting Degustbox for the last few months, but this is my first official review here on A Sparkle Of Grace.

Degustabox is a monthly subscription plan which contains 9-14 surprise food products with each box. The items are selected from name brands, will contain new flavors, and give you a new option to think about the next time you’re looking for a break in your eating routine.

This months theme is The Big Game! and I see the theme shining through with all the party style foods.

BOBOLI Thin Pizza Crust $3.99

“Prefer a thin pizza crust? Look no further than our 12-inch ready-made thin pizza crust for delicious results, form entree pizzas to pizza appetizers.”

The box was in our house for about half an hour before we used it to make pizza, I used the pizza sauce that also came in this months box, along with some mozzarella and parmesan cheese, peppers and mushrooms. It was a great lunch, and I’m sure we will be getting this again.

ORGANIC GROUNDED SNACKS Aged White Cheddar Red Rice & Quinoa Tortilla Chips $3.29

“Perfectly paired creamy white cheddar and a hint of garlic, our Aged White Cheddar chips are as good as your imagination hopes they’ll be.”

I may or may not have eaten this whole bag by myself. As you may have guessed I liked this a lot, they were cheese and crunchy, need I say more?

BOBOLI Italian-Style Pizza Sauce $2.75

“Flavored with garlic and onion, Italian-style, it’s the perfect topping for any 12-inch pizza.”

I used one of these on the before mentioned pizza crust and it was just the right amount of sauce. It seemed to have a slight sweetness to it that I wasn’t expecting but really liked.

LUNA Lemonzest   BARS $1.39

“Luna whole nutrition bars are crafted to help keep you nourished throughout your busy day and give you the energy to break through. Each bar is a delicious, gluten-free snack that’s perfect in between meals.”

These were so yummy! The lemon flavor was really light a refreshing and I really like that they are quite sweet because I have a sweet tooth but still like to feel like I’m eating something healthy. I got three in the box, but as you can see I eat one before I took the photos.

GOYA Refried Pinto Beans Traditional $1.09

“Authentic, chunky-smooth, cholesterol-free Goya Refried Beans”

Honestly, I don’t like refried beans, so I personally won’t eat these but everyone else in my family likes them.

Goya Refried Black Beans Casero $1.39

“Goya’s top quality black beans, cooked and seasoned for easy preparation of this classic and delicious Mexican side dish ”

We had these with dinner the other night, and as I don’t eat them I have to really on what they said. They all said that these were a slightly different texture then they expected but really good.

MRS RENFRO’S Craft Beer Salsa $3.49

“Mrs. Renfro’s tasty salsa with Rahr & Son’s amber lager delivers a unique and bold flavor.”

This salsa is so good! I’m a big fan of salsa and we have been very loyal to a certain brand but my loyalty may have just changed over to Mrs. Renfro. This salsa has a sweetness to it but it is also spicy, not too spicy but just enough to leave a lingering feeling on your tongue.

SIR KENSINGTON’S Spicy Ketchup $4.99

“Sir Kensington’s spicy ketchup features chipotle peppers, cilantro, lime juice, and a hint of coriander.”

I haven’t actually tasted this one yet, my occasion for ketchup are infrequent at best, but my dad tried it and said it was quite nice but tasted more like barbeque sauce.

Tiger Tail $1.99

“Small batch mustard, crafted in Dyersburg Tennessee. Inspired by tradition and made of only the highest quality ingredients.”

This is a nice mustered, I have to admit to it not being anything too special but it is quite nice. I like the fact that it is a small batch production and that it is made in the USA.

THE SPICE HUNTER  Coriander Lime Global Fusion Rub $4.99

“Inspired by Thai cuisine, The Spice Hunter’s Coriander Lie Global Fusion Rub adds a fragrant, citrusy flavor that’s delicious on chicken, tofu or fish.”

I love this spice, so far it has been used on baked salmon, and grilled chicken and it has added a lovely flavor to both. I’m definitely a fan and I’m going to look for some of the other Global Fusion flavors next time in the grocery store.

Overall I’m very happy with this box, my favorites are the salsa and the coriander lime spice.  What are your thoughts on this box?

Anna.

You can click (here) and use the code O2Z11 to get 50% off your first box, for a total of $9.99 instead of $19..99

Love that they included products that can go together or be used on their own! I’m a very picky eater but I would still love to try the Lemonzest bars and the pizza x
