Can you believe that November is over? Maybe it’s just because I have been in a Christmasy mood since the end of September, but it just seemed to fly by so fast. Also, can we just pretend that this post went up yesterday? Thanks.
I picked this up at T.J Maxx for five or six dollars, and I have been using it every evening when I wash my face. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my skin since I started using this brush, but I do feel like I’m getting a deeper clean and I haven’t had as much dry skin on my nose.
My skin has been suffering lately, so I decided to try this product out. I have been using once a day in the evening as a spot treatment, and it has been helping heal my skin.
This is a super hydrating moisturizer, it has the consistency more like a balm than a cream I guess that’s what makes it a souffle. Since I have been using tea tree and other drying products to try to get my breakouts under control I felt like I needed a restorative moisturizer. This one seems to be doing the trick, my skin hasn’t been dry, and it hasn’t been making my skin worse.
I had the chance to do a review for Emily last month, and this was my favorite of the products I received. You can find that review (here). I love the light lavender scent and how simple the ingredients are, they are made with essential oils, shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil.
I picked this palette up on my birthday back in October and it has been pretty much the only palette I have used since. I’m hoping to have a full review up in the next week or so, so I’m not going to talk too much about it. So far my favorite shades are Appeal, Fancy, Reason, Treat, Convert, Habit, and Persuade.
I have been loyal to my Rimmel Match Perfection concealer for a very long time now, but I think I have found a new favorite in this one. I got the lightest shade in this concealer, and I think it is a bit of light which never happened to me, but thankfully it’s the perfect shade for under my eyes. There is a full review of the work so keep an eye out.
I found a couple of these at TJ Maxx recently for six dollars, so I decided to pick them up, and I’m so glad I did. Lolita is my favorite of the two I have been wearing almost constantly. This is a dust rose matte shade that is super comfortable to wear, and it smells of chocolate.
That is all my beauty favorites this month.
A few other things I have enjoyed this month are,
I’ve been a big fan of Celtic Thunder for some time now, but somehow never listened to their Christmas album. It’s now one of my favorites, it’s a good mix of both sweet sentimental songs and the fun Christmas songs we all love. My favorite tracks are Gaudete, Bleak Mid-Winter, Fairytail Of New York, and Christmas Medley, and Mary Did You Know.
Murder On The Orient Express
We went to watch this on Monday night and I was super impressed. The cinematography and the acting where both stunning, I was particularly pleased with Kenneth Branagh as Poirot, I didn’t think I would like him in that role but it turns out he was amazing.
I shared this jacket in my what I bought for my birthday post a couple of weeks ago. It has been the only coat I have worn so far since the weather has gotten cold, and I just love it so much.
I think that about sums it up!
What have you been loving lately?
