Who doesn’t love a good pamper evening? I know I do.

So for today’s post, I thought it would be fun to share my pamper routine with you.

I try to do a little something every evening, whether it’s painting my nails, doing a face mask, or even just lighting a candle and having a cup of tea. I find it really relaxing and fun to take that extra time to make myself feel pretty and well groomed.

Without farther ado, here is my pamper routine.

The First thing I do is run a bath, and while the tub is filling up I remove my makeup and wash my face. I love to use the Dirty Works Pore-Fect Face Scrub, it’s gentle, refreshing, and the cooling effect makes it perfect for waking up tired, dull skin.

Face masks are a must for any pamper routine, and this time I picked my Anjou Dead Sea Mud Mask. This mask is gentle and soothing but at the same time detoxifying and gives my skin a deeply cleaned feeling.

Next is music! Lately, I have been loving Emmet Cahill’s Irland, this is Emmet Cahill’s first solo album and if I were to describe it in one word it would have to be relaxing, and that’s what makes it perfect for evenings like this. This album is made up of both sweet and sentimental songs that are performed beautifully.

Candles are the ultimate calming ingredient to a pamper session, I honestly can’t imagine a bath without them. I have been using two of the cute little candles from DW Home in the scents Vanilla Bean and White Rose. Both of these have a lovely light scent.

I have always been a big fan of bubble baths but lately, I have been loving bath bombs. This one is  Asquith & Somerset’s Uplifting Jasmine & Rose. This smells so lovely and it leaves little rose petals floating in the bath which gives a very elegant feel.

Once I’m in the bath I usually stay there for anywhere between twenty minutes to on hour depending on how relaxed and lazy I feel.

Once I’m out of the bath and dried off, I put on my fluffy bathrobe and finish my skincare routine, and moisturize with the Jergens Original Scent my all time favorite body lotion, it smells of almonds and cherries and makes my skin feel amazing.

Then I proceed to paint my nails, on this particular occasion I chose the Essie polish in the color Peak Show, it is a sweet cool toned pinky white color that’s perfect for a cheery manicure.

While my nails are drying I usually watch a movie or catch up on some writing/photo editing whilst sipping a cup of camomile tea.

Then I brush my teeth, and it’s off to bed!

What does your ideal pamper evening look like?

Anna.

  9. This sounds like a lovely pamper evening to me, but I don’t do my nails on a relaxing evening because I am such a fidget. That almond and cherry scent sounds amazing though. I bought some rhubarb and custard bubble bath recently and it literally is the best thing I have ever smelt in my life.
